Day 10 - 30th June 2026

Tuesday morning was a slow start. I had had a headache the day before, which is probably why I slept for 2 hours in the car park, so the late(ish) start was a good thing. I had a shower and got prepared.

When I was back from the shower, there was a herd of deer in the “back garden” again. They were chilled and didn’t really seem to mind me being there no more than 80ft away.

After the photoshoot I headed out to go somewhere I was told about the previous day. I headed towards the standing stones again, but carried on past until I reached Dun Carloway. I also managed to get here between coaches arriving so had the place to myself for a little while.

Once I’d been here, I headed back into Stornoway and after a mini break in the carpark again, I went back to help out with the course.
